There are several reasons why your device may not scan your eSIM QR code. Try the steps below to resolve the issue.
Check if your phone is compatible with eSIM
Make sure your device supports eSIM technology. Not all phones are eSIM compatible, so confirm compatibility before continuing.
Check the QR code
Ensure the QR code is not damaged, blurred or distorted. If it is unclear or difficult to read, try scanning it again or request a new code.
- Adjust the lighting
Poor lighting can prevent your camera from reading the QR code. Make sure the code is well lit and free from shadows or glare.
- Move closer to the QR code
If you are holding your device too far away, the camera may not be able to scan the code. Move closer and try again.
- Restart your phone
If scanning still does not work, restart your device and try again. This can resolve camera or software issues.
