Some carriers limit the types of eSIMs that can be added to a device. Check that the eSIM plan you are trying to switch to is compatible with your device and carrier. Also confirm that your device is not carrier locked.
Incompatible device
Not all devices support eSIM technology. Make sure your device model is eSIM compatible and check whether the device region has any local restrictions that could affect eSIM use.
Device related issues
There may be configuration or software issues on the device that prevent the eSIM plan change from completing.
What to try
After checking the points above, turn Airplane Mode on and then off again. This refreshes your device connection and resets any active data sessions.
